Not really my cup of tea but my wife and sister had a ball. They gave me a beer while they shipped (and spent plenty). Also had live music outside and a beautiful Newfoundland "guarding" the shop.
A must visit on St George island! My wife and I love the store. Their rental prices are the best on the island. Employees are really nice and fun to chat with. Visit the Italian ice stand out front. There are some delicious treats! I would recommend the beach blend with mango and ground up nilla wafers. The ice cream is home made! We will be visiting this store again before our week here is over.
Great place with local people who care! Brian was awesome with local info and getting us set up with kayaks for the week. I highly recommend renting gear from here and checking out the great stuff inside - games, boards, amazing drink containers that stay cool forever - and more! We will be back for sure!
I cannot brag enough about this store. The owners are some of the greatest people I've met on this island who will help you with any questions you may have while visiting the area. They have a great selection of unique shirts and souvenirs (even treats for your canine companions). You can grab a tasty beer or glass of wine while you're shopping. Really, don't visit this island without swinging by this store. Plus, best prices on kayak and SUP rentals on the island.
Such a wonderful family owned business. We come every year for the last 15 years and this is such a wonderful addition. We rented a golf cart and kayak from here and was not only the best rates on the island but the best service. Looking forward to our new island staple.
