We went in at 4:30 today and we're seated immediately by Chris, our waiter. In the short time that we were there, he did a great job taking care of us. He got our drinks and order and was great. Unfortunately, the cook in the back was being belligerent to the wait staff after he messed up an order and they attempted to explain to him what was wrong... instead of fixing the order, he began cursing the wait staff. Chris stood up for the waitress and the cook told him to f*** off and that he was going to ruin all of his tickets for the night. That was enough for us to pay and leave. Again, the waiter was great and was doing his best to take care of us and juggle a belligerent staff member, but I can't spend money knowing someone is purposely going to mess up our order. The management needs to do something about that cook.
Food was average, waited at hostess stand 10 min before anyone came. Cleanliness was questioned and confirmed when a rat walked across kitchen door and then laid there. Staff walked over and around it till we told our waitress. It stayed there another 5 minutes with staff walking around it till someone finally picked it up. Hey we know all restaurants deal with this but it was the fact that customers had to bring it to there attention in a obvious place that had us disturbed.
Excellent service. We enjoyed the fried oysters and shrimp. Deserts Devine. Highly recommend.
Super friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere. I've only been here a week and I'm about to go for a third time! I highly recommend the Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla, the Dragon Shrimp Tacos, and the Grouper Reuben. Went with a group of 6 and everyone LOVED their food. (And that's with 3 super picky eaters)
We can't get enough of this place. There is a shaved rib eye sandwich (think french dip) that is so tender and perfect. We ordered it three times, this summer alone. Kids are always happy, staff is always super friendly. It's a fun atmosphere, and my number one "grab lunch after leaving the beach" spot.
